Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Horizon Point, LLC (“Horizon Point,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit horizonpointhomes.com, fill out a form on our website or on Facebook or Instagram, call us, or receive text messages from us. Horizon Point is a Kansas City–area company that buys houses for cash. We only use your information to respond to you about selling a property and to run our business.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Website forms. When you request an offer or contact us, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, property address, your reason for selling, and anything you write in the message field.
  • Facebook and Instagram lead forms. If you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram (Meta), Meta sends us the information on that form. This can include your name, phone number, email address, property address, and your answers to our questions (for example, your timeline, the property’s condition, or whether it is occupied). The form may be pre-filled with information from your Meta profile. You can review and edit it before you submit.
  • Calls, texts, and emails. When you talk with us, we keep notes about the property and your situation so we can follow up.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of visits. This data is used for security and to keep the site running.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Our website may use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to remember preferences, measure traffic, and understand how visitors use the site. See “Advertising, the Meta Pixel, and analytics” below.

Advertising, the Meta Pixel, and analytics

We may advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To measure how well those ads work and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our website, we may use the Meta Pixel (a small piece of code on our website) and Meta’s Conversions API (which sends similar event information from our server to Meta). These tools can share information with Meta Platforms, Inc., including the pages you view, actions you take such as submitting a form, your IP address, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers. If we turn on Meta’s “advanced matching,” contact details you enter (such as email or phone number) are hashed, meaning converted into a scrambled code, before they are sent to Meta, which uses them to match website activity to Meta accounts. Meta’s use of this information is governed by Meta’s own Privacy Policy.

We may also use website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors find and use our site. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and collect information about your visit. They do not give us your name unless you choose to give it to us.

We do not use advertising or analytics tools to target or exclude people based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or any other characteristic protected by fair-housing laws.

Advertising and the Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads work. When you visit this site, tap our phone number, or submit a form, information such as the page you viewed, your browser and IP address, and cookie identifiers may be shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. If you submit a form, your email address, phone number, and name are converted into a secure one-way code (hashed) before they are sent. We do not sell your personal information. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and you can block cookies in your browser.

Text messages (SMS)

  • Consent. We send text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them, for example by checking the optional text-message consent box on our website or Facebook/Instagram form, or by texting us first. Our texts are about your property inquiry and a possible sale, such as scheduling, follow-up, and offer updates. Some messages may be sent with automated technology.
  • Consent is not required to get an offer. You do not have to agree to receive texts in order to request or receive an offer from us.
  • Frequency and cost. How often we text depends on your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Opting out. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from us. You may receive one final message confirming you have opted out. You can also tell us by phone or email. Reply HELP for help, or call (816) 787-5994.
  • No sharing of mobile information. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile information only with service providers who help us send messages (such as our texting platform and phone carriers), and only to deliver our messages to you.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Calls and text messages. Our forms include two optional checkboxes. If you check the first, Horizon Point, LLC may call and text you about your property and your request, including automated texts and calls that use an artificial (AI-generated) or prerecorded voice. If you check the second, we may also send occasional marketing texts. Consent is never a condition of getting an offer. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or tell us at any time to stop calling. Your consent applies only to Horizon Point, LLC. No mobile information or text-messaging opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry by phone, text (with consent), or email.
  • To evaluate your property and decide whether we can make an offer.
  • To prepare offers, contracts, and closing documents if you choose to move forward.
  • To keep records of our conversations and transactions.
  • To measure and improve our website and advertising.
  • To protect our website and business, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with the law.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf. These include website hosting, email delivery, phone and texting services, and our customer-relationship management (CRM) system, where we store and track inquiries. We also use advertising and analytics providers such as Meta and Google.
  • Transaction partners, if you decide to sell to us. These can include title companies, closing attorneys, lenders, inspectors, contractors, and others needed to evaluate or complete the purchase.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others.
  • Business changes, such as a merger, sale, or reorganization of our company. The new owner would have to handle your information in line with this policy.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up about your property. We keep transaction records for as long as needed for our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations. After that, we delete the information or de-identify it so it no longer identifies you.

Your choices

  • Texts: reply STOP at any time.
  • Calls and emails: ask us to stop contacting you by phone or email and we will honor your request. Marketing emails include a way to unsubscribe.
  • Access, correction, or deletion: contact us to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We may need to keep some records when the law requires it.
  • Cookies: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the site work.
  • Ads on Facebook and Instagram: you can manage how Meta uses information from websites for ads in your Facebook or Instagram settings (under “Ad preferences” / “Your activity off Meta technologies”).
  • Google Analytics: you can use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect. No website, email, or text system is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive financial details, such as full bank account or Social Security numbers, through our website forms.

Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our site may link to other websites, and our ads appear on Facebook and Instagram. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
